Pooja Mistry


Developer Advocate






Pooja is a Developer Advocate for the IBM Cloud Platform. She works on expanding the reach of IBM's technology to New York City's developer community. Her area of interest includes prototyping with NodeRED, analyzing data, creating custom models with AI/ML services, building chatbots, and using open source libraries and SDKs to develop fun and exciting project!

Before working as a Developer Advocate in NYC, Pooja lived in Boston, MA, where she was working as an API automation engineer in the healthcare tech industry where she focused on compliance and regulation of ETL workflow of electronic medical records.

On the side, Pooja also worked to spearhead Boston's Startup Weekend community, where she launched and managed a grassroots network of technologists and entrepreneurs in the Boston area and empowered them to build new companies and initiatives that catalyze and mobilize the entrepreneurial community towards collaboration and growth.

Pooja is ambitious and passionate about the intersection of technology and community. She loves to learn, teach, and share her knowledge with the developer ecosystem. She strongly believes in helping new technologists get up and running with technology and feel confident in their abilities to make!
